Logo Design Project for a commercial IT company

This is what Multi-User Projects was looking for in their logo design

I am looking for a commercial logo design that works all round. On the web, in print and to impress displayed on our office wall or the side of a van. So something that works on many mediums. I am open to your creative talents using whatever colour scheme you wish, if you wish to incorporate a device in the design in the form of an abstarction or illustarion, then please feel free.

The company is Multi-User Projects Limited, a UK IT business offering professional computer services to customers with commercial IBM Computer systems. The company offers its services around the UNIX/Linux Operating systems software.

A subtle reference to IBM would be good, perhaps in color, as IBM is known as "big blue" but please don't use their scan-lines effect if you have an idea of incorporating it, to the point where it would be too obvious and perhaps a copyright infringement.
