Logo Design Brief

I am looking for a commercial logo design that works all round. On the web, in print and to impress displayed on our office wall or the side of a van. So something that works on many mediums. I am open to your creative talents using whatever colour scheme you wish, if you wish to incorporate a device in the design in the form of an abstarction or illustarion, then please feel free.

The company is Multi-User Projects Limited, a UK IT business offering professional computer services to customers with commercial IBM Computer systems. The company offers its services around the UNIX/Linux Operating systems software.

A subtle reference to IBM would be good, perhaps in color, as IBM is known as "big blue" but please don't use their scan-lines effect if you have an idea of incorporating it, to the point where it would be too obvious and perhaps a copyright infringement. IBM also use green in some of their product logos which is a color I like, but feel free to use whatever colors you think works with your design.

Alternativly, the link to IBM is not that important if you wish to pursue a design of your own interpretation based on our company name and its business.

Requirements

Must have

• 1. I would like to see ideas around a word mark logo from our company name "Multi-User Projects".
  2. If adding a logo device with our company name, focus must not be lost on the company name text. Both logo device and company name should be equal in presentation.
  3. Please submit your designs on both black and white backgrounds.

Nice to have

• Would like to have an illustrative element to the design, especially emphasizing the "muliti-User" or many users aspect which describes the type of computer systems we promote. An example of this would be an illustration showing three or more peoples faces, from a side aspect, one behind the other as if looking along a line of people, but each person is stood slightly forward in the line (for example)

Should not have

• An obvious one, but please dont incorporate the IBM logo.
