This is what JOOST was looking for in their logo design

The task is to create a logo for an energy drink. Unlike most energy drink brands that communicate the product benefit of improved physical energy in its extreme form (extreme sports, mixed martial arts, etc.), Joost focuses on energy as a means to improve your mood so that you can be your best self. The brand is colorful and fun and friendly and approachable. If there is any brand to take inspiration from, it is Olly (olly.com). I am also a fan of 1960s mod design and Scandinavian design in general. Read more
