We seek a logo design for Digital Heritage Mapping (DHM) a 501(c)(3) non-profit in the emergent field of spatial humanities dedicated to digitally preserving global historic and cultural sites. A unique collaboration between individuals in diverse disciplines (academia, technology, arts, and social entrepreneurship), DHM melds age-old scholarship with 21st Century technology to assert the importance of physical location to the understanding of history. This actualized focus allows for a more comprehensive, interactive, and "living" reconstruction of the past than previously thought possible.

DHM, through its own initiatives as well as those of others to whom it provides services, has created a prototype for digital preservation applicable to every country, culture, and subject matter. The organization is
