Thank you all for the submissions so far.

We ask that for all folks submitting designs, you read our full design brief more carefully and try to incorporate more of the aspects we discuss.

If you have any questions about what we mean in any portion of our brief, please ask us and we would be happy to clarify.

Thank you.

On Feb 18th two new logos idea was added to the design brief, please see below for more details. However, if you have not done so already, please read all of the design brief.

And one important detail regarding these design ideas - we would also very much still like original, creative ideas to be submitted. We do not want to limit the rest of the entries to these two ideas.

Shanti''s logo idea - added Feb 18th, 2013. We would like some designs that represent this idea, but we also still want new unique ideas of your own. There was also an image uploaded showing the concept of this design.
- Circle of humans holding hands on the top
- Earth on the bottom
- One arrow on the right going from earth to the circle of humans.
- One arrow on the left going from the circle of humans to the earth
(One file was uploaded with a crude graphical example of this concept - see the design brief file upload section.)

Dan''s logo idea - added Feb 18th. Another idea would be to symbolically represent the three relationships described in the brief (see below) with three circles and/or some variation on a recycling symbol.  The Earth and Groups are pretty easy to represent with a globe and a group of people if desired.  It is less clear how to represent Projects.

1. The EARTH gives us resources (e.g. fossil fuels, food...) needed to live our lives and do things together.
2. GROUPS (e.g. weddings, conferences, organizations...) acknowledge these gifts and their impacts by donating to environmental projects.
3. PROJECTS (e.g. solar power, community gardens...) give back to the Earth.

Thank you all for your participation. We look forward to seeing some great logo designs from you this week.
