Magazine Template for National Charity

Are you asking for 15 pages (plus a cover) for AUS$200? I would expect a concept cover and two-three internal pages for that budget. This project sounds really interesting and I would love to submit something wonderful for you, but developing a well-designed and cohesive magazine takes time - particularly one thats want to include the fun elements of a contemporary, edgy, youthful 'street' mag.

Hello Louise,

Thank you so much for your question and feedback. Unfortunately I''ve only been approved a very limited amount to put towards this project, this time. We''re really very stretched with resources at the moment, and I''m hopeful that there may be designers out there who available, interested and willing to undertake this exciting charity project with the budget provided.

I appreciate your interest and believe you''d have produced a really wonderful design! Hopefully there will be more opportunities with greater budget for you to accept work in the near future.

Have a beautiful day & thank you again,

Emma

What do you want the dimensions of the magazine to be?

by Biswajit on Saturday, September 15, 2012

Hi,
Many thanks for inviting me for your project, thanks a lot.
First of all its a really nice project and nice initiative, like it.
But before starting the design I need some thing from you, I need the exact size of the magazine, with the bleed mark and all also if you have any preferable color option tell me that. And do you like any other magazine, if yes then can you upload some images or can you upload the link. So that I can get an Idea to start.
And your budget is really low, and its a time consuming factor, as because this is a magazine design.
The last thing is your project is non guaranteed. Can you please make the project guaranteed ? I hope you ll get some more submission once you guarantee the project.
Thanks a lot again. Will wait for your reply.
Have a nice day
Jit

Hello!

Thank you for your interest in this really exciting project! I hope my message answers your questions!

The magazine ideally would be printable on A4 pages, exact size of A4 without bleed is 210 x 297 ; bleed is 4mm. Exact size with bleed is 218 x 305mm.

Colour options - black & white with pops or highlights of colour (we use a lot of bright orange & blue).

Please see http://www.apra-amcos.com.au/About/APRAPMagazine.aspx as an example of what we love, however it is just an example and we do not want to limit your creativity, we understand that budget and time is limited, and we are open to new ideas!

I apologise that budget is low, and that time is a factor, and I will make the project guaranteed. This is my first time using this site, so thank you for the feedback. I will also extend the deadline as I was not able to respond to your questions earlier.

THANK YOU! We are so excited to see your design!

Emma

Please note, I''ve uploaded a MMAD branding 101 document, as a guide only. Please do not feel restricted to follow this. It''s just there as a guide if needed or desired for reference.

Thank you!

I understand that you would like a template, what file format are you expecting this project? . Are you looking for photoshop, indesign etc ... ?

I havent had time finish a design. I wonder if you could extend the end time.
