Logo Design Brief

I am starting a sports cards and memorabilia shop. We will be selling stuff primarily on ebay early on, then will be opening a brick and mortar shop in the fall. I currently have another business called the Hungry Hippie, and we will be doing the logo for Herbie's Sports Collectibles as a spin off of the other brand. I have had a couple people work on this already, but wasn't fully satisfied with the results so I wanted to go on here and get the job done right. I've attached the current logo of the Hungry Hippie, as well as the unfinished attempt at a logo for Herbie's Sports Collectables. These can be used as reference for the new logo. The character from the Hungry Hippie logo is called Herbie, so the card shop brand will use the same character for the main part of the logo. I'd like to keep the vibe of the Hungry Hippie, but make something that has more of a vintage/retro 60's/70's sports feel to it. Would like to have the "Herbie's" text in the new logo in larger letters, and the "Sports Collectables" text as more secondary. Make the logo FUN. It's how we do things at the Hungry Hippie, and I want this brand to have the same feel. Feel free to message me with any questions and I'll respond as quickly as possible. Requirements

Must have

• Vintage look. Brand cohesion with the Hungry Hippie brand (same character) Cool text for Herbie's Sports Collectables/I'd like a black/yellow/vintage color scheme similiar to the 60's/70's pittsburgh pirates uniforms

Nice to have

• Would like sports related items involved in the logo. The preliminary logo design had a football and graded card, as well as a baseball cap and jersey. Please use some similiar type of combination.
