Hi All - I just uploaded a pic of two tiki men I have on my desk that I've grown to love and is sort of my inspiration for having a tiki man on my logo. The brown is more of what I want to see, the details in the crown (with addition of feathers coming out of the top), the details with mouth and teeth, I like the eyes but I wish he had the nose of the green tiki. I also like that the green tiki is that "goofy" fun tiki that I like. I like how the green tiki seems to be more playful than mean, aggressive or sinister. I'm seeing mean tikis in the samples. It need not be too complicated. Simple tiki with the right expression will do the trick. Thanks!!!

Hello Designers!

I was getting a lot of designs that showed me text only designs. Unfortunately, I am not interested in a text only design - My travel agency needs an inviting logo. I did a google/image search of cruise travel agency logos and I see lots of cruise ships/very generic. I want something that shows/depicts a fun Polynesian vacation/cruise.

Not just a stand along big kahuna because as I have been seeing the designs, I realize how scary they look out of context - the Big Kahuna tiki needs to be incorporated with a simple island (which could be as basic as a water element, a palm tree and a sun) and a cruise ship off in the distant water or close by. Something that says we're about fun vacations. Big Kahuna style.

OK - I see that I'm confusing everyone with what it is that I want. It seems the more we're adjusting what I'm currently seeing, the more I'm realizing we're moving away from what I really want. I just google searched BIG KAHUNA and selected clip art drawings and found several samples of what I think Big Kahuna Vacations has the potential of looking like.

There's one thats Big Kahuna marketing? There's a big blonde guy in the middle of the logo - I like the palm trees, I like that the name is embedded within the logo and not just separate text and I think the guy can easily be replaced with a cruiseship.

There's one that shows two tiki guys and palm trees on either end with blank space in the middle for the text.. this is darker than what I'd like but its an option - see what you can do that is similar that you think would work for a fun/inviting logo for a vacation/travel agency

There's another sample of mickey on a hammock with palm trees, water sun and cruiseship - i love this. Can we replace Mickey with a tiki and if not on a hammock then just on the beach.. just something. I love that this is simple and inviting and has warm colors. I like it.
