Do you want an actual watercolor raster image for the background or a simulated watercolor background?
hi, we are unable to use raster files for images. watercolor background would be excellent - oh, and we just made announcement - the projects we have received are all of such great quality we have decided to add a 2nd place winner for $100.
HELLO,
WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE HAVE ADDED A 2ND PLACE PRIZE FOR $100. we are so pleasantly surprised by the high quality of submission and all the beautiful designs we just decided this this morning. Thank you for everyone who have submitted designs (and everyone who is about to). We will diligently be checking this board and our inbox today and tomorrow as project comes to a close.

So, just to clarify, you want the the watercolor background to be SIMULATED, not made from an image of an actual watercolor?
The watercolor images you provided as examples appear to have photos of real watercolor (raster files) inserted as a fill in a vector file. This MAY work for your project but the watercolor background will be subject to the same limitations as any raster file--limited scalability and resolution resulting in loss of detail. If you choose a design that uses this method, you need to be aware of the limitations and the ways they can be worked around. You will also need to specify the minimum dpi for the fill. Typical sofware defaults are 72 ppi and 300dpi, but can be set to whatever you need. Speak to your printer.
A simulated watercolor background is much more difficult for the designer to produce, but wouldn't include a raster fill.
