Card Design Brief

We want to print a deck of playing cards (55 cards) with a custom back and front print.

- The back reflects our company identity www.geocat.net
- The front shows famous historical figures in geography and mapping (Kings, queens, jacks) and maps (Ace).
- The paper box holding the cards should be in line with the back of the card

Attached are templates for the sizes of the cards and the box. Also attached are a screenshot of our corporate website and a central graphic of our product line. The box and back should follow the corporate style. The front of the cards can be very creative :-)

Must have

• - At least one custom king, queen, jack and ace. Use famous cartographers / geographers for them (Willem Blaeu, Columbus, Da Vinci, Eratosthenes, Gerardus Mercator, Muhammad al-Idrisi, Claudius Ptolemy, Amerigo Vespucci, Mary Ann Roque, Shanawdithit, Fanny Bullock Workman, Ida Pfeiffer, others, ...)
• - Maps should be the leading theme of the deck
• - A custom back of the card with corporate identity of GeoCat b.v.
• - A box design in line with the card back design.
• - Maximum coloring 280 a 300%
• - Fit the templates attached
• - High quality Adobe Illustrator files should be delivered.
• Copyright will be on GeoCat bv

Nice to have

• - Custom King, Queen, Jack and Ace for each suit.
• - Custom (resembling) heart, tile, clover, pike symbols for use on every card. It should still be clear what symbol it represents.
