Logo Design Brief

Please help me design a logo for my new dental office, Alamo Ranch Dental. This is a nice new office in a high income neighborhood. It needs to be professional and stylized and scale easily for use on web, email, print mail, uniforms, etc. Should look good in color and monochromatic. Prefer 3D type appearance, but open to flat designs. One idea is to have a simple toothbrush with "Alamo Ranch Dental" on the handle and the bristles of the brush are the simple outline of the Alamo. Another is to use the "AR" stylized as a branding iron inside a tooth outline. The "AR" stylized is used throughout Alamo Ranch communities (search online for "Alamo Ranch in San Antonio" to see it. I am open to any other ideas. This is a general dentist office providing routine care, fillings, crown and bridge, implants and cosmetic services. Trying to avoid the dentist tooth stereotype logo.

One Design that has not been submitted is my original concept to use the bristles of a toothbrush to make the outline of the Alamo. Someone got close, but not quite. Please see this drawing scan for the basic idea.
