New Shoulder and upper arm add on, linking to existing piece

Hi, I already have a Celtic knotwork and family crest at bicep height, and want to add to it, to fill the space above, and below existing tattoo. I would like it to be a continuation of a family theme, potentially adding a clock, and birth dates of my two children . As a link between the two pieces I'm open to either a vine theme, tree stump, or subtle bands. I've attached an example of how I'm looking for something to complement the existing piece, noting it's just an example of blending two pieces together, and I want my piece higher up my shoulder
