Memorial Tattoo Inner Forearm

This is what a business in United States was looking for in their tattoo design

I am looking for a memorial piece to honor a once in a lifetime dog that I lost last year. I own a business and have a rather stress filled life, but he was my ground, my favorite hobby when not working is to read, he would either sit right next to me on the couch and look over my should like he was reading too, or he would lay with his head in my lap while I read. I'm looking for something black and white with shading but no color. The design I'm uploading was drawn by a friend and is a good start, but I'd like to have the dog look more like a labrador retriever. I'd like to maybe incorporate a rainbow to signify the rainbow bridge, I'd love to have a few paw prints thrown in, maybe a few more tiny hearts, and have the perspective of the books in the drawing shrunk and the girl and dog enlarged, so that is the focus, not the stack of books.
