La Belle Louve logo

This is what La Belle Louve was looking for in their logo design

I need a logo for my high end lingerie boutique called La Belle Louve. La Belle Louve translates to "The Beautiful She-wolf." The boutique will carry primarily European and American designers that break the boring, conventional everyday-wear mold (think sexy and lacy less is more lingerie). I want the logo to be feminine without being frilly. I chose the name because it invokes a sense of instinct and intuition (Louve - the wolf) balanced with a bit of softness (Belle). One of the concepts I've been toying with (unsuccessfully- so far) is to somehow make the B in Belle abstractly resemble the female hourglass figure but I haven't been able to get the visual right with out it looking forced or cheesy. I'm very open to other ideas and images that might invoke a sense of female empowerment (without losing the soft feminine edge). The main color scheme for the store will be a gray-brown and lilac purple. Read more
