Non Profit Group that Feeds the Hungry Needs a Revised Logo

This is what Gainesville Harvest: Rescuing Food to Feed the Hungry was looking for in their logo design

We need an updated logo for a 23 year old nonprofit organization called "Gainesville Harvest" located in Gainesville, Florida, USA. The current logo is a sketch outline of an apple shaped like a heart. Colors used are red (apple peal/skin), green (leaf), and black (stem). The purpose of Gainesville Harvest is to rescue surplus food from local restaurants, hospitals, grocery stores, and farms and redistribute the food to hungry people at 45+ distribution sites throughout Alachua County and North Central Florida. We would like to see designs with a similar color scheme as our existing logo. The design should communicate our desire to feed the hungry and our partnerships with business, government, faith based organization, and other charities in the local community.
