A fitness strength and conditioning Logo Design

This is what CrossFit Island was looking for in their logo design

We need a logo design for our new CrossFit Box (as it is known as, but 'gym' would be the common word for it) on the Isle of Wight, UK. CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program that is constantly varied, relatively high intensity functional movements. The types of exercises/equipment used include: kettle bells, dumb bells, barbells, medicine balls, ropes, rings, rowers, pull up rigs, and spinning bikes. It focuses around a 'community' theme where everyone helps and encourages each other to be 'prepared for the unknown' and to 'specialise in not specialising'. CrossFit creates the ultimate fitness!
We would like something fairly symbolic and 'strong' to represent physical and inner strength. Open to suggestion on colours, but perhaps one dominant colour which will stand out on a background base. The logo needs to be versatile in terms of being put onto business cards, posters, banners, t-shirts, website and possibly even the side of a car. Visit website: www.crossfit.… Read more
