This is what Grace Baptist was looking for in their logo design

Thanks for looking at our post. We are a church experiencing a period of deep growth after many years of difficult decline. As a church, we don’t fit well with the stereotypical evangelical subculture. Our average member doesn’t buy Jesus junk, wishes Hollywood would stop making Bible movies, cringes when politicians speak about Jesus, would discourage you sending a check to a televangelist; we’re not program driven, we not looking to be a mega church, we not afraid of the word “religion,” and we wish Christian books stores would stop selling “inspirational” mugs, cards, and mints. Some of the things we value are: God’s glory and all-surpassing greatness, the supremacy of Christ in all things, the indescribable value of Jesus, the Gospel (the good news of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ), God’s grace (his undeserved goodness toward sinners), the Scriptures, a God-centered approach to ministry (for example God is the hero in the story of David and Goliath and not David), humili… Read more
