Beer Birds blog based website needs a logo design

This is what Beer Birds was looking for in their logo design

Beer Birds is a website created by 3 women to be aimed at women (although it is men friendly so not overly girly). It is primarily going to feature craft beer and the breweries around BC. I would describe our logo as witty, whimsical and sassy.

Our logo must include 1 or 2 birds. The bird/s should have a bit of detail to them, something that differentiates them from the standard twitter bird graphic. A hops flower should also be included, one of them perhaps holding a hops flower (hops is used to make beer).

We are interested in having modern but almost pastel colours that are girly but not over the top. We've toyed with the idea of having our logo look like a beer label - see first attached image - and love how the text floats in front of the crest and also how the image itself isn't constricted to the boundaries of the crest. We like the idea of the "stacked" bird picture (3rd image attached) with just two birds and a hops flower as the daisy flower
