This is what Black Chapel Studios was looking for in their logo design

We need a logo for our new design and maker space in Salt Lake City, Utah. Here's our mission statement:
"Black Chapel Studios is a maker space devoted to the craft of building something from nothing. We shape wood, cut steel, and capture sound — creating custom furniture, instruments, and art while opening our doors to anyone ready to learn a new trade or lay down their first track. No doctrine. No gatekeeping. Just the work."

We have a unique space full of all types of woodworking and metal working tools, plus a music recording studio upstairs. We plan to teach classes on guitar and bass building, but also build custom one-off art and design projects. We need a logo that is simple, but impactful. It shouldn't be overtly religious, despite our name, but can be a bit edgy. It needs to look professional and should look good cut into a wood and metal sign or in print on the side of one of our vehicles. Read more
