Innovative medical device company needs a logo design

This is what Capstan Medical was looking for in their logo design

We need a logo design for a medical device company based in Santa Cruz CA called "Capstan Medical".
We develop medical technologies that don't exist or are otherwise on the cutting edge of modern treatment options, especially treating the heart.
We would like evaluate some designs that incorporates "capstans" -- often used in sailing to wind rope, or in other applications to wind cables. Some example images of capstans are attached. Other mechanical, heart, or abstract forms are also of interest. Clean lines, and simple shapes preferred.
The company location in Santa Cruz is a beach town by the redwoods. The team is engineering, mechanical and medical focus. We would like to see designs that reflect clean, professional, medical environments. Blue, grey, red, and green are common colors in the industry. Please focus on blue and grey with red or green as accent if any. Read more
