U.S. institutional investment advisory firm needs a logo design

This is what Transcend Capital Partners was looking for in their logo design

My new firm is called - Transcend Capital Partners. I'm looking for a logo that can capture the essence of going above and beyond, rising above industry norms to be and do something different. I'm looking for a logo design to speak to that as it relates to the investment industry. We manage money for institutional clients (ex. foundations, endowments, pensions, and non-profits). We would like to see the design use a color scheme based on black. (ex color scheme: black, gray, blue.)
