Independent Record Store - Single Colour adaptation of existing brand

This is what Eclectico Records was looking for in their logo design

Our bricks and mortar record shop in St. Kilda, Melbourne is a part of a well established independent retailer that also specializes in clothing and jewelry aimed at festival goers and music lovers of all ages. Due to the success of the records we aim to create a new brand specific to the record store and spilt it into a separate business that retains its roots in the existing brand building on that to create its own identity. We have already attempted to create our own logo but feel that a professional designer may bring something extra to "lift" the concept. See the attached "eclectico records sticker example". Key things to consider, in addition to our foot trade a significant portion of our sales come through a website called Discogs, as such the new brand should be complement Discogs branding and fit into a square format.
