Logo design for laboratory and materials processing equipment company

I need a logo design for small company in Houston, TX area that represents equipment manufacturers in specialized areas. Here are is the website for my primary equipment vendor (www.brabender.com) for a point of reference. Another vendor I represent can be found here (www.foremostmachine.com) We sell laboratory and material handling equipment for plastics and food manufacturers. The company name is KwaTech LLC. New tagline concept we have is "When quality matters" The company name was inspired by two things: 1) native american mythology: a god named Kwatee who was the god of transformation (also associated with technology.) & 2) the founder, a chemical engineer, having the initials KWA.
