This is what The Barber Company (or The Barber Co.) - Haircuts and Shaves - Barber Shop was looking for in their logo design

Do not want this to look generic. Most logos for barbershops look the same. I do NOT want a urban vibe there are plenty of shops doing that (its not us). Eventually would like to grow this brand to include merchandise and apparel so I really want this logo to translate and appeal to everyone. Basically something that looked great above a shop 50 years ago and is still cool today. Really like the look of the attached file named business. Just no gold or brown tones please. My eye is drawn to logos that incorporate “block” type fonts and script fonts together (attached fonts I like). Would like it to be circular shape incorporating the anchor (attached reference) and straight razor. Would like it to be appealing enough for large sign above the shop and also simple enough to read on a business card.
