This is what Centre for Teaching and Learning was looking for in their logo design

The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) at the University of Newcastle, Australia, is a student focused unit that aims to increase both academic teaching and student academic achievement. The Centre is also responsible for the implementation and management of key teaching and learning technologies across the University.

The Centre has recently appointed a new director and is in the process of reinvigorating its image within the University community. We require the development of a new logo that will play a central role in our re-branding strategy. The logo needs to

- Encapsulate our core values of `Teaching Excellence, Learning Success', which is also the Centre's slogan.
- Be highly identifiable
- Be professional yet simple.
- Be sharp and edgy.
- Incorporate the Centre's colour of purple #5C2A7F.
