Local Fuel Station needs a fresh logo makover

This is what (None provided) was looking for in their logo design

Hi There,

We are in need of a new logo for our family owned Fuel Station (Monaghan's Fuel Supplies). Our small depot has been pouring fuel, distributing bulk fuel, offering a large range of oils, lubricants etc for over 40 years to our local community, battling against the big gun companies (BP, Caltex, Mobil, Shell).
Our depot is unfortunately a little "outdated" compared to the surrounding bigger companies. Our truck is in the 80's and the building, sheds and memorabilia are old fashioned.
So I lean towards designs emphasising the "locally owned and trusted'' and "old fashion/antique" ideas . . .
Possibly a design based around an Antique fuel bowser? Antique Fuel or Oil Drum? Old Tanker Truck?? . . .
Open for all new and fresh ideas and concepts though =)
