Location Sound Recordist for the Film and Television Industry

This is what Nova Location Sound was looking for in their logo design

I need a logo for rebranding my audio services company. I provide on-location sound recording services for major feature films and tv dramas, and I need a modern logo that reflects technological innovation, even sci-fi. Style wise think Buck Rogers, Startroopers - kind of like an interplanetary space league emblem!! I really am looking for an emblem style logo.It needs to be eye-catching enough for web and business cards, but can also translate well into being stenciled onto equipment cases and embroidered clothing etc. I would love the graphic to be something related to audio (headphones, a microphone, whatever) combined with something spacey (planets, a spaceship,whatever).
