Logo Design Brief
We have decided to re-brand our Photography Studio Logo into something more modern and professional. We are a Wedding and Portrait Photography Studio in Michigan, but we also photograph sports and events so we really don't want to go completely "girly" with our logo and branding. (Not to mention that our studio owner is a man!~ LOL)
The logo would need to look terrific on our new site at www.studio316photography.com [which is to date still getting updates on it's look], as well as on our company stationary and clothing. We typically wear branded polo shirts on our events.
The logo would also need to be adaptable to our 30ft Event Show Trailer. We hope to have a vehicle wrapper re-do our vinyl lettering and graphics on our trailer with the new logo.
I did see somewhere where someone had numbers integrated creatively into their design. We have the numbers "316" in our logo so maybe that is an idea?
Lastly I wondered about the logo having a "bug" graphic that could be pulled out of the overall graphic that would still show the brand - such as for printing the "bug" on caps, mugs, etc. [ I have uploaded our current logo for you to see - it's not very functional for stationary and web headers]
[edit] Just want to remind designers of the importance of us having a "bug" with our logo but first I want to explain what I mean by it since I may not have the term correct. (If someone can correct me on the term that would be terrific)
What I mean is a part of the logo that can be used as a stand-alone element in some instances. I work part time for a company that uses both the logo and bug- the bug for our shirts and caps, etc. You can see what I mean on their site at http://www.fabrion.net/. The "F" is the bug.
Thanks!!
We are excited about what you guys come up with!!
