Logo Design Brief

I need to update my logo. I like the bridge theme and the colors I currently use. Our company is an investment advisor working with people that in many cases are transitioning from working and saving to retirement. We are located in California. The design should be able to look good on a web site or as a small graphic on the client statements. The logo should be clean and communicate stability.
