Graphic Design Brief
The task is about designing a monogram-type of logo, that would represent our couple for times to come. Kind of a signature for my fiancee and me, an emblem of us, together. To do so, we would like to use the first letter of our two first names. That is, the letter J and the letter L should be used. The logo should be black-only.
A good example is the logo of the tennisman Roger Federer for example: RF. It is shaped in a smart way, giving place to imagination to read it.
I have tried to sketch something out as an example (see attached file), featuring one L and one J, with a sort of symmetry up-down, and a look that kind of shows the idea of "alliance", "together", "strength", "support". These are really the keywords the design would communicate. I thought my example was interesting, but then it is not very professional, and maybe too "straight lines and angles". Any prettier and orignal proposal going in this direction appreciated. Symmetry is not mandatory.
