Logo Design Brief

The product is a private cloud storage platform for schools. The name is "Squirrel It". There will be iPhone / iPad / Android apps for this product as well as documentation requiring a logo and title branding. We'd like designs for a squirrel logo and the title of the product together as one graphic. We'd also like the squirrel logo to be able to stand on its own. Finally, we'd like the logo and title as an app store tile design as well.

We'd like the squirrel graphic to be a 2D profile graphic, possibly with the squirrel forming the first letter of the title although that is not a requirement. We have no particular colour palette in mind. Although the product is for schools, the target buyer is adult so the style should reflect that and be neither too 'corporate' or too focused on children.

Target Market(s)

The sector is education and predominantly schools (ages 4 to 18) but the buyers are adults, usually Network Managers or Head Teachers.

• We need a 2D squirrel logo that stands on its own as well as with the logo text, which must be "Squirrel It". We're happy to consider options that include using the squirrel logo in the text, e.g. as the 'S' of squirrel. The logo/title will be used in printed documents as well as web and apps.
