Logo Design Brief

I am starting a four-member rock band which will be doing a live parody of 1980's hair metal (Poison, Motley Crue, Van Halen, Whitesnake, etc.). We are accomplished musicians who will be performing the music ourselves on stage. We will be performing at local and possibly regional bars, clubs, and festivals. We need a logo to use for advertising, our web site, t-shirts, a stage backdrop, etc. We want an eye-popping design which mimics the 1980's metal music scene, which was fun and over the top.
