Logo Design Brief
EBWC is in its 10th year and it's time to refresh the logo. Conference is for professional women from the San Francisco Bay Area who range in age from mid-20s to late 60s. Primary attendees are professionals working in conservative industries (big oil, banking and finance, accounting, healthcare); some attendees are self-employed or are women re-entering the job market. The logo should be professional yet bold, fresh, contemporary, forward-thinking, and energetic. Please avoid these direct or subliminal messages: spiritual, religious, ethnic, age (too old, too young), and beauty/hair/feminine products. We would like to move away from the current graphic image. Colors: Attachment shows current colors (PMS 255) and its use in a current ad for the upcoming conference. An updated, more contemporary and vibrant palette is desired but we would to have PMS 255 included in the mix. Logo needs to work in print and web; it needs to work in grayscale and as a single color (e.g., reverse-out white on a conference tote bag). Logo may have an icon/bug or be simply stylized text.
Updates
Good morning,
We have received many excellent design options for our new logo. The committee will be reviewing all of the options early next week and discussing alternatives. You will hear more after that.
Thank you.
