Poster Design Brief

Hi to everyone,

I produced a movie last year and today I received the good news that a company in my country, Mexico, wants to put it in theaters. The problem is that I only have 5 days to have a poster because the release would be in february, so I think Design Crowd is my best option.

The Movie is called "El reino del Guardián" the translation to english is "The Guardian's realm".

The genre is Adventure/Thriller.

The movie is 60% in english and 40% in spanish.

The synopsis is: George, Carlos an Adolfo are 3 rescuers who spend every day helping people in poor communities, and though they barely have money to eat, they are really commited to their trade.
They get a call from a community across the state where apparently there are several people missing.
Upon arrival, Itzel, a Mayan girl, leads them to some trucks that had been abandoned for several weeks. Some American tourists paid her brother to guide them, and the only place they could have gone is a cave only known by the community.
Her community has protected this place for generations because it was considered the Maya's door to the underworld.
After crawling for hours through the narrow tunnels, they cross the mountain and encounter a jungle.
They walk for a while until they find the base camp of the Americans... all have been killed, including Itzel’s brother.
They seek among the equipment looking for a radio, but when they open the packs discover that everything is filled with Mayan treasures.
Hidden under a tarp, they found a huge statue of a jaguar, completely made of gold.
Excited with the discovery that can change their lives, they decide to fill their pockets with the treasure, but greed takes over, so they decide to take the jaguar statue as well.
Soon the madness, hunger and distrust will make this friends become ravenous beasts, showing that gold can destroy even the strongest friendship.

The characters importance order is: Carlos, George, Adolfo and Itzel. In the files is a folder with photos to identify them.

The idea I have for the poster is based on the following concepts:

This posters give the same importance to the world than the characters.
The worlds in this posters have something strange or different.
We can see the faces of the actors.

Our characters are trapped in a magical world in which the lines between the magic and reality are blured. The Golden statue that they find is the ancient mayan god of greed. This statue was trapped in the underworld so the god inside couldn't escape.

The idea I have so far is that the characters are in the jungle, just about to enter or getting out of a cave; this cave is our first layer, its geography is in shadows and resembles de siloutte of the mouth of a jaguar that is devouring the characters.
The jungle can be as strange and bizarre as you want.
In the upper part of the mouth can be an element, object or light that resembles 2 red eyes, it can also be suggested with the title.
I put also a folder with the billing block, the font I used is Trajan Pro, but you can change it to any other common font for billing blocks. All the needed logos are in the same folder.

For the title of the movie I dont have selected a font, It wll depend on you to find the right one for your design.

All these are just ideas to make the job easier, but I'm open to other concepts.
