Logo Design Brief

This new product called 'imitatr' (pronounced 'imitator') is a browser based software emulator or simulator for testing web sites, it lets site owners see if their site will work well on a mobile phone browser.

You can see the beta site at www.imitatr.com today.

A rough idea on one logo idea we like is here - http://yfrog.com/gyx3wjmj we also like and use glyphish icons if you are looking for a good smartphone icon.

We are open to other ideas.

We would like this logo for imitatr.com to look like the logo for an existing service we already have under development called coinr.com We want the imitatr logo outline (outside edge on the orange squarish tablet shape) to be exactly the same as coinr.

For the colour, instead of orange (like coinr) or blue we would like something even more bright and fun - like bright gold (like UPS logo) or lime green or bright red. not sure, open to suggestions.

Instead of circles in the centre (like coinr) we would like something that shows the emulator concept e.g. maybe a mobile in a double 90 degree mirror or a mobile inside a PC screen or even just a mirror. Your decision.

Simplicity is key, we don't like un-necessary watermarks, shadows, flourishes etc... Keep it simple and trustworthy looking. If you are not sure ask yourself would it look out of place next to the coinr.com logo on our products page?

Must have

• EPS logo file in the attached sample format is expected back,Clean. Simple.Like coinr.com logo (same size and border shape) but different colour and different centre image (not a circle but perhaps something like this http://yfrog.com/gyx3wjmj
  
  We have attached the EPS from the coinr.com job for your reference, feel free to use that EPS as a template for this job only. We will hunt you down if you use it anywhere else, really :-).
  
  Must have black and white version, grey version and colour version please.
  
  At least one of the black/white grey versions must have no gradients.
  
  Icon should be symmetrical please.

Nice to have

• Bright. Looks good on iphone.

Should not have

• Flourishes, shadows and unnecessary crap.
