Logo Design Brief

We are building a web-based collaborative workplace where clients will outsource work (mostly text-based, e.g. translations, copywriting,etc...) to skilled individuals (contributors).

The idea behind the name 'Stars and Coins' is that clients will give feedback to contributors via 1-to-5 star reviews. By getting consistently positive reviews contributors will build up their reputation that they will be able to monetize, hence earn some coins...

We're looking for a great logo in three different sizes: one that will be used front and center on our website, a smaller version of the same one for inclusion in other web pages and emails, and a minimal version that can be used as the small icon next to a webpage title in a browser tab. The main design colors so far are blue and yellow/gold, but we're open if you can come up with a great logo in any color combination.

  (e.g. one possibility would be something similar to the DesignCrowd logo, with a star and a coin embedded into each other followed by the words Stars & Coins - but we are very much open to other concepts as well)

Should not have

• - Overly glossy colours, kitsch, unprofessional
  - Old or extravagant fonts
  - Coins that look like poker chips
