How many colors you are open?

If silkscreen printing it should be minimized

by Made Wirawan on Friday, December 19, 2014

Hi,

What style do you prefer for the illustration? Is it flat style, or full shaded color? Personally I can adapt to any style.

Do I have to limit the use of color?

Thank you.

Im thinking to do flat style.

Well for the color, it depends. If your medium is silk screen printing, then having more colors will cost you more - but its the best and most popular way. There are alternatives, but you need to know what kind of shirt printing you'll be going.

One more thing, about the face, its made by the smoke am I right?

It is for DTG printing so color is not a limitation. Thanks

Hi Made, it is for DTG printing so color is not a limitation. Full shaded color. I saw your images on Flickr. I liked: Man of steel fan art, Gothams reckon. Just to give you an idea of what inspires me: Science fiction movies, future movies. Interstellar was a big impact. I don''t want to spoil if you didn''t see that movie. But the design has the vision of "launching to space to discover something better". I used to follow Manga. One inspiration is Akira the comics and the movie.

Thanks for the message. As I mentioned in the other reply is for DTG printing. About the face. Keep in mind the rocket is launching out of the face and the explosion clouds shadow some of the top of the face. Thanks
