AMDA is the American Medical Director Association, a membership association for healthcare professionals working in Long Term Care (nursing homes, rehabilitation facilities, assisted living homes etc). Most of our members are made up of doctors (MDs), but we also serve everyone who works on the medical team (nurses, physical therapists, administrators, etc).
AMDA Long Term Care Medicine - 2012 is our next Annual Meeting for the association. This meeting happens once a year and provides the doctors and the rest of the medical professionals a time to come together to learn about the latest and hottest topics in the Long Term Care Field as well as earn their CME (continuing medical education) credits needed for their medical license.
The meeting will be located in San Antonio, TX in March of 2012. The theme this year will be "A Mission from the Heart". Many of our doctors work in small towns and rural communities and many do not make the large salaries that are typically thought of with doctors. Our doctors work in Long Term Care and with the elderly because they care deeply about their patients and have a passion for working with the aging population. Our theme reflects the commitment our doctors make to working in a field that is usually harder than expected.
We are looking for a logo for our annual meeting that expresses the theme of the meeting as well as catches the eye of our members and encourages them to register for the meeting. The logo is the basis for all of our show branding. We take the logo piece and transition it into signage, banners, registration booths, exhibit hall special effect and multiple print pieces.
Target Market(s)
The audience for this logo is the membership of our organization. They are medical doctors and other medical professionals. They are about 60% male and tend to be on average 40 years of age or older.
Many of our other meetings are branded very seriously. This meeting changes brands/logos each year with each changing theme and it is our opportunity to be more bold and creative in our branding.
