Is there any particular colour scheme you would prefer for the site?

The blue from the logo is nice. I personally like some shade of white\light grey for the bg on these types of pages. It really helps with readability.

But also dark grey is a popular choice for World of Warcraft sites.

Gold would also work well for this particular product we're selling.

Overall, I don't have much artistic ability so what I think is best, probably isn't :P

As long as the customer can easily read the sales message while scan-reading, and everything looks professional and trustworthy, you can use any color scheme you like.
