Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a new project, Gingermoon, based in Brighton UK. Gingermoon is a wordpress development service. I've attached a rough version of a logo, showing the sort of thing I am after. I like the orange (ginger) and grey colors, in particular the orange which is #ec700b. I had the idea that the G in the logo should be a bit like a crescent of a moon, but I am not set on this idea, so open to a different approach.
