Logo Design Brief

I need a logo designed for a startup internet business in the UK. The company is called biij - bij being the dutch for a bee. biij is all about connecting other people to things they have found whilst researching on the internet - hence the link the bees and hives. Collaboration and sharing.

The biij logo should reflect this "hive mind" and be modern - but not too strongly insectoid, so not an actual bee ! I have attached something (analog insect) that I have done previously, that uses two circles that are somewhat like antennae. I did wonder (see the other attachment) if the two dots above the "ii" could reflect this subtly.

It would also be good to be able to adapt the logo to say "the biij hive" by adding the two words if required (see the attatchment). And potentially doing this is a "sketchy" font.
