Are there any design styles preferred?

I did an image search for "farm sign", and came up with so many different styles/shapes/layouts.

Can you link to design a style(s) that the client prefers? As well as what design features they absolutely must have.
Maybe a prize winning cow to be featured on the sign?

I don't mind working from a blank slate, but some more direction would be extremely helpful.

Thank you very much for your time.

Hello SquarePear thanks for you time, I was told by the customer that he wanted cows on in as well as a combine, I'm not a graphic designer that is the reason I put it out there. size should be around 3' x 5' - 4' x 6'. A lot of the signs around here are hand painted with two pieces of equipment on them or a large cows head with equipment in the back ground, shape and design is open. I realy like the looks of this maybe leave the combine out, add cows. Thanks Curtis www.captivatingsigns.com/Portals/25973/Gallery/Album/5416/Rutherdon%252520Farms.jpg
