Some additional thoughts about the cover: In response to questions regard the book please use: 1) Use the title: Is Authoritarianism Staging A Comeback? 2) Reference the co-editors: Mathew Burrows and Maria Stephan 3) The publisher is: The Atlantic Council 4) Assume 2-4 blurbs on the back of the books

Thank you for the update and feedback. Do you know if the client prefers a photo realistic cover compared to an animated graphic cover? Is there any imagery or icons they mentioned they would like to see to symbolize resistance?

I believe the editors prefer a graphic cover to a photo realistic cover. However, this is largely to avoid stock images, so if you have a photorealistic idea feel free to run with it or focus on the graphic imagery.
