Logo Design Brief
I am a marketing contractor with 14+ year's experience. I listen to what a client wants to accomplish then develop a strategy for it. I create ideas and content and work with other specialists (designers, printers etc) to bring everything to fruition. I project manage and implement what's required to generate results for my client.
The Running Beetroot came about because I didn't want a generic consultancy label (i.e. my name) or a name that sounds self important (i.e. lightbulb marketing). When I run I am the colour of a beetroot. I look like a running beetroot. I like it that's it's unexpected, and the running refers to hard work and the beetroot refers to making a mark (or whatever you want to read into it!).
Primarily I will use it on a business card, in proposals, an email signature and a web page.
Target Market(s)
Potential clients who are used to seeing creative work. The logo should create intrigue but ultimately present me as a serious but strategic and innovative marketer.

Requirements
Must have
- It has to be FUNKY.
- I love cool sneakers, street art, retro and vintage art and furniture and when I envision a logo I think of that. I'm happy to play around with typography and minimal graphics or vice versa.
Should not have
- I DEFINITELY DON'T want a literal translation of the brand - e.g. an illustrated beetroot in running shoes. The logo needs to be serious to counteract the playfulness of the name (and so I'm taken seriously).
