Logo Design Brief
We are a new innovative web design company looking for a logo which represents our brand and our work across all platforms - including social media.
The business is based around websites, custom themes and related services and needs to feel professional, modern but also representative of our name and the industry
Guernsey Web is a start-up which will focus on managed hosting, innovation, themes, plug-ins etc. We are looking for a clean, modern logo with plain colours (matt/modern) and preferably a flat design.

Requirements
Must have
- It must have the name Guernsey Web in the title. We would not be totally averse to a pictorial/lettermark combination but would 'prefer' a word mark logo design format. Again open to ideas.
- We are looking for a clean, modern logo with plain colours (matt/modern) and preferably a flat design.
Nice to have
- We would like it to have some colour aspect to it and are open to ideas. We are also mindful of being able to put the logo within a twitter/facebook icon which are often square.
- We do not want a square logo necessarily but one that could adapt to this (or an accompanying usable icon) would be very useful. This icon could contain GWeb or GW or Gsy Web as a shortened version of Guernsey Web.
Should not have
- Any gimmicky pictures or humour. We do not want to see stereotypical icons to such as a ‘mouse’ or ‘keyboard’ etc. Our preference is for a word mark format but we would consider and image/letter mark if it was creative/innovative.
