Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new trio of musicians based in the northeast, U.S. called "Open Road". We write, sing, and perform original acoustic music along with some cover music. Our sound is authentic, with 2-3 acoustic guitars, often with 3-part harmony. We are all in our middle years so the logo should not appear too youthful or trendy as we all have professional music experience and are genuinely serious about our craft. This logo is needed for general PR purposes -- website, emails, flyers, Facebook, and should be done in black & white. Our PR photo is b.&w. with a colorized guitar, (kind of cool and sexy). I will load up our group photo and a logo that was done by DADesignStudios that we liked very much. I would recommend a guitar image of some kind, evocative at least, yet not literal, and prefer line drawing, incorporating perhaps a road image, or the lines of a road, leading in or out...
