Brochure Design Brief

Accounting firm seeks a professional design for a brochure/leaflet to complement their website and promote their services to the local community (but not restricted to as we currently have clients on a
national scale) and attract new clients. The target audience are taxpayers from individuals and professionals to SMEs (small to medium entities). The final design should communicate our assistance in tax matters, offering business & financial advice and development of a long term relationship with the customer/client.

We are looking for a slick, polished and proficient design based on the colours of the company logo and website (blue/black/white). Pictures and logo can be used from the website (www.shabbir.co) but does not have to be limited to these. Additional relevant pictures welcome. The firm already has a slogan of ‘Turning Vision into Value’ but I would rather not like to have this as the main caption/slogan to attract new clients on the front page. An eyecatching new caption would need to be created that would attract new clients. Any ideas (see below)?

The brochure itself can either be a half-fold (4 sides) or tri-fold (6 sides) depending on the quality of the information displayed on the brochure

The basic information to be displayed is the company logo, website address, email address, other contact details, memberships to Institutes etc. It may be worth having a QR code at the back so that individuals can save our information on their mobile phones.

With regards to the body of the brochure, the main content should be derived from the website, eg home page (established 40 years etc) and ‘What we offer’. Other references can be made to the business and tax resources available on the website including calculators, helpsheets & forms, providing regular tax tips, the offer of a complete business guide to “How to make more Profit” upon signing up as a client etc, Listing testimonials and the type of clients we deal with (ie Retailers, property developers and letting, subcontractors etc), fixed fee quotation etc

Artwork/brochure would be required to be delivered in the following format

 Format - PDF or JPEG

 Colour - CMYK

 Bleed - 3mm(if design runs to edge)

 Safe Zone - 3mm

 Resolution - 300dpi

References to being better than other accountants should be avoided.

Winner may be offered further work in the form of designing a billboard poster in the future.
