Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a modern law firm. The law firm name is: "The Law Office of Michael C. Rose, Esq. LLC." I'd like to incorporate my initials (MCR) in the logo. I also want to make the "LLC" as SMALL as possible. I'm open to any combination of modern, yet professional looking colors. I do have an affinity for dark red and yellow/gold so perhaps we can start with that. At the end of the day I want the logo to be bold and professional. I would like the seriousness of the law to come across in the logo as opposed to a bright fresh IT sort of look, if that makes sense.
