Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new company called "Plantinum CPD", based in perth, Western australia. We will be running educational courses (continuing professional development , or CPD) for qualified veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses and other veterinary clinic staff. We want a simple modern sleek and elegant design, preferable NOT including animals (because we may want to branch out into providing education courses for other professions). We like the colours blue and silver. The design should communicate quality and excellence.
