Logo Design Brief

Our company title is POWERHOUSE. We provide performance parts and services for motorcycles and prestige cars. Our old logo is outdated and was focussed to our bike specific origins, but the company has evolved since then to do as much with cars. I'd like a logo that either encompasses bikes and cars together, or goes for a simple, neat brand icon based around a clever but simple/neat adaptation of the name powerhouse. Our website is under review and due to re-launch with a much fresher more modern look, and I need a logo to go with it.

Target Market(s)

People looking for high end performance vehicle tuning and parts. Target market is discerning, class customers rather than mass market.

Requirements

Must have

• A fairly bold main text, maybe with modern/technological look.

Nice to have

• Subtle fusion of car and bike themes, maybe bike front or bakc at one end of the POWERHOUSE word and sports car at the other end. we work on race bike and Jaguar/Aston Martin cars, so something hinting at their silhouettes might be good, as long as it's not too cluttered.
• Colour wise I personally like black on high contrast gold or yellow, or black on silver or greysclaes, but don't want to limit ideas so I'm open to other ideas and combinations.

Should not have

• Too much clutter.
